Test StopBy

Thanks for helping us test StopBy (ちかメモ in Japanese), the to-do app that reminds you when you arrive at a place. You can test on Android or iPhone.

Android

1. Signed in with the Google account you use on Google Play on your Android phone, open the StopBy testers group and tap “Join group”.

   Opening the page alone doesn’t sign you up; you need to tap “Join group”. If you are signed in with a different Google account, switch accounts from the picture at the top right first.

2. Signed in with the same Google account, open the testing page on Google Play and tap “Become a tester”. If it isn’t ready yet, try again in a few minutes.

3. Install StopBy from Google Play.

   

4. Please keep the app installed and use it for at least 14 days. Google needs testers to stay in the test that long before the app can be released, so please don’t leave the test or delete the app in the meantime.

iPhone

1. Install TestFlight from the App Store.

2. On your iPhone, open StopBy in TestFlight and install it.

What to try

• Save the places you go to and add to-dos to them.
• Allow location all the time and notifications, then go about your day. You’ll be reminded when you arrive.
• Check things off right from the arrival notification: press and hold it on iPhone, or tap the buttons on Android.
• Sign in with Apple or Google and invite a family member to share places and to-dos. Sharing needs StopBy Pro; purchases during the test are free and never charged.

Leaving the test

Your email address is used only to give you access to the test. To leave, open the testers group and tap “Leave group” on Android, or remove StopBy in TestFlight on iPhone. See also the Privacy Policy.
